Well, I finally made it all the way from Atlanta to Los Angeles. (!!!) Even though I knew I would end up here someday, actually moving here (from Idaho Falls) was about a 6 month process. Once I made it out here, the plan was to stay within a close proximity to the film industry and I unintentionally landed in the center of Hollywood. I was aiming for Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Studio City, Hollywood, North Hollywood, West Hollywood or Sherman Oaks. So, I’m glad I found a great place where I wanted to be.

Finding a place out here was crazy, I was tracking places on 3 different websites but eventually found my place on craigslist. I was hotel hopping trying to keep up with the 600 listings posted every day on CL and the place I got had only been posted for an hour when I called and set the appt. (The wide pic at the top is the view from my balcony.)

I’m in the process of getting new stuff for my place, so I’ll post pics when I get around to it. :P

In other news, I really liked my old blogfolio but I wasnt really sure what direction I wanted to take it. It was intended to be a graphic design type blog but I also wanted to use it for everything else and it just didnt seem appropriate. Using a variation of my old xbox live name
for everything is something that other designers / internet personalities do, but I didnt want it to stick permanently.

I knew that I eventually wanted to start getting my real name out there, so the timing just seemed right for making the transition. Also, keeping both sites running under two different names would be weird too, not that I would have time to keep both of them updated. :P

So, I tore down the site (recycled the blog section into this site) and deleted all of my accounts associated with it so I could set everything back up under my real name. Apologies to those who I was freaking out, since I didnt make an announcement or anything, I just didnt want to waste time trying to explain it all when the intention was to re-emerge shortly afterwards. I wasnt planning on being absent from the interwebz for 2 months, but getting everything together took a little longer than I wanted it to. I love this new site though, enough that I know I will be keeping it updated regularly. For sure. With lots of pictures and videos too!
