Eight Twenty-Four

Over a couple weeks during the summer I worked on a short film in Mississippi about zombies and a farmhouse safe haven. I did not write or direct it but I was the producer. I met a lot of cool people, such as Juliet Reeves, who starred in ‘Automaton Transfusion,’ and Brandon Murphree, a really talented make-up effects artist who has worked on films like ‘Staunton Hill’ and ‘It’s my party and I’ll die if I want to,’ in addition to having worked with Tom Savini. I also talked to one of the stunt coordinators from ’24′ for stunt consultation involving flipping an SUV off the road with a “kicker.”

The farmhouse that I scouted and secured for the shooting location was actually a fish hatchery that has been featured on NatGEO, but no other films have been shot there.

To help keep the production synced and organized, Searing Cinema’s OPS was utilized to host the film’s production files and documents.
